CSSM's own Dr. Wayne Fuller, Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Iowa State University, was recently named one of Clarivate's 2020 Citation Laureate for Economics. Fuller received this distinction along with his former PhD student, David Dickey.

Each year, Clarivate (the Web of Science group) identifies Citation Laureates. According to Clarivate, "This small group of highly cited scientists and economists represents a research elite whose influence is comparable to that of past and future Nobel Prize recipients. Our expert analysts have used unique, trusted Web of Science_^(tm) citation data to identify Citation Laureates_^(tm) since 2002."

Fuller, deemed by Clarivate as one of 2020's "giants of research," has been a valued member of the ISU community since 1955.
