U.S. Department of Agriculture- Natural Resources Conservation Service

U.S. Department of the Interior- Bureau of Land Management
The Bureau of Land Management's mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. Congress tasked the BLM with a mandate of managing public lands for a variety of uses such as energy development, livestock grazing, recreation, and timber harvesting while ensuring natural, cultural, and historic resources are maintained for present and future use.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is an agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The agency's primary purpose is to coordinate the response to a disaster that has occurred in the United States and that overwhelms the resources of local and state authorities. FEMA's mission is to help people before, during and after disasters.

Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence
CSAFE serves as a rigorous research center committed to applying proven statistical and scientific methods to improve the accuracy of the analysis and interpretation of forensic evidence. We collaborate with statisticians, scientists, forensic practitioners and other stakeholders to pursue this common goal. Fair administration of justice requires the existence of scientifically valid methods to analyze evidence, relevant databases to support the analyses, and appropriate interpretations of the results of forensic evaluations. Through our collaborations and initiatives, we are driving solutions to support our forensic community partners with educational opportunities, accessible tools and open-source applicable databases.
Iowa Department of Natural Resources
The DNR manages fish and wildlife programs, ensures the health of Iowa’s forests and prairies, and provides recreational opportunities in Iowa’s state parks. Just as importantly, the DNR carries out state and federal laws that protect air, land and water through technical assistance, permitting and compliance programs. The DNR also encourages the enjoyment and stewardship of natural resources among Iowans through outreach and education.
